Friday Night Dive In
By
It’s so hard to choose - do I want to stay at the pool where I can relax and splash around or do I want to go home to watch a movie?
Summer is full of tough decisions - would I rather have a bomb pop or a fudgesicle? Play a pick-up game of basketball or volleyball? Go to the beach or go to the lake?
Well the Alpharetta City Pool is making one of those decisions a little easier by offering the “Friday Night Dive In” Friday July 17th. Reminiscent of the drive-in theater your parents used to go to, the pool at Wills Park has added its own twist. Bring your floaties and inner tubes and relax in the cool water alongside friends and family while watching a favorite movie. The pool will open at 7:30 pm and the movie will begin at dusk.
For 2009 pool pass holders, this event is free and for everyone else it is only $3. You can’t beat that price forĀ a movie and a dip. Refreshments will be available for kids who skip dinner for this great event.
For those of you who live in Hanover Pointe or Hanover Place, two Bowen Family Homes communities in Alpharetta, the convenience couldn’t be beat.
The drive-in in Atlanta is a 25 minute drive away and, let’s face it, it wouldn’t be nearly as much fun!
