E-Incentive for Realtors is a Success

Bowen Family Homes' Kensington Creek Manor neighborhoodBowen Family Homes recently created an online contest to boost their social media program. The contest was aimed at Realtors - awarding them a $10 Starbucks gift certificate for becoming a fan of the Bowen Family Homes corporate Facebook page.

The Facebook page had more than 200 new Realtors become fans in less than 5 days after the contest launch. Bowen’s social media efforts are directed at all those involved with the company from the Facebook page designed to engage Realtors and current buyers to the Bowen Family Homes Twitter account aimed at perspective buyers and this blog you’re reading right now which was created to keep homeowners informed. The fact that Bowen isn’t targeting only one audience is what make the social media plan so strong.

Family Fiesta with Mexican Food

George Pierce Park Community Recreation Center is hosting a Family Fiesta on Saturday August 8th. The Mexican heritage-themed party will teach children about  another culture as well as provide some end-of-summer fun.

There will be traditional fiesta food including tortilla chips and salsa and tamales. For the kids, there will be Mexican games for them to play and crafts to make. All the while Mexican fiesta music will be playing.
