HomeAid Atlanta, a nonprofit dedicated to providing homes for those without, is taking a short break from their home building endeavors this Friday. At 4 p.m. on December 13, the non-profit builder is partnering with American Girl, building ginger bread houses for American Girl Dolls.
Bring your daughter and her American Girl Doll out to North Point Mall to for a fun filled afternoon creating her dream gingerbread house. American Girl will provide all the materials needed to make the perfect home for her doll. After your home is complete visit the American Girl restaurant located in the store. It’s the perfect way to end any mother, daughter day.

Suwanee’s Town Center Receives Award

Seven years ago, Suwanee’s Town Center was little more then a plot of earth and an idea. Today the built-from-scratch Town Center features amazing dining, shopping and is a regional event venue for the Suwanee community. Recently the Suwanee Town Center received its second Atlanta Regional Commission (ARC) Development of Excellence award.
The Suwanee Town Center was recognized as a Development of Excellence during the 11th annual Developments of Excellence Awards presentation as part of the State Region Breakfast held at the Georgia World Congress Center on Wednesday, November 25, making this municipal government the first to twice receive the distinct honor of being named a co-winner of the prestigious award.
