Spring has officially arrived! Shortly, your kids will have a week-long break from reading, writing and arithmetic and you may not know how to keep them occupied. Never fear, Part 3 of Bowen Family Homes‘ Spring Break series offers yet another suggestion:
Atlanta Botanical Garden Spring Break Camp
April 8-9 Atlanta Botanical Garden has a delightful camp for the little ones aged 4-6. Each morning will be filled with exploring nature’s progression toward summer as well as activities and artwork. Education and fun are the goals of this two day event. Cost is $60 per child ($50 for garden members) and is an event your child will not forget.
For those with older children or that want something earlier in the week, Atlanta Botanical Garden activities spanning the week of April 5-9. Children have the chance to dress like a pollinator, dig for worms and plant seeds. This is a great way to expose your children to nature. The events take place from 9:30 a.m. to just past noon. Story time will also take place daily in the Children’s Garden Amphitheater at 10:30 a.m.
