Smyrna Fresh Produce Market Now Open for 2010 Season!

Spring is the time of year when the sun’s intercession keeps the cold weather at bay, and Atlantan’s step outside to enjoy all the season has to offer. A treasured hallmark of spring is the local farmer’s market, and residents at the Bowen Family Homes community of Oakdale Preserve in Smyrna don’t have to wait any longer.
The Smyrna Fresh Produce Market is open for business every Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon. The market is located in the parking lot of Smyrna First Baptist Church, adjacent to Smyrna Market Village. This location ensures plenty of parking if arriving by car, or shady sidewalks for those traveling on foot.
Georgia has a decent growing season and the fruits and vegetables only get more plentiful and varied as the months wear on. The market is expected to remain open until the fall.
