6026-trail-hikes-drive3Earlier this week we told you how Bowen Family Homes was extending the free basement offer at Hanover Place. Well, now we’re excited to tell you that another incentive has been extended. All homebuyers who close on a home in the Gwinnett new homes communities of Cypress Springs or Kensington Creek Manor by September 30 will receive a move-in package.

The move-in package outfits you with all the things you need to make your new house feel like a home. Included in the package is a side-by-side refrigerator, washer, dryer and blinds. Gearing Up for the School Year

Posted by: Bowen | Comments (0)

school-bus-thumb-nailThe first day of school is rapidly approaching, and whether your children will enter the doors for the first time as a timid kindergartner, or you have a boisterous senior already planning the graduation party, the start of school means one thing: supplies. Lots and lots of supplies.

Pencils, pens, crayons, loose leaf paper (wide ruled, of course), binders, boxes of tissue and liters of hand sanitizer are tightly zipped into backpacks across the metro Atlanta area to prepare for a year of productive and germ-free learning. The cost of these supplies can add up though, so what’s a parent to do? Though Georgia will not have a sales tax holiday on school supplies this year, you can count on a myriad of sales from various retailers. The best strategy is to flip through sales papers or view the ads online. Often retailers will offer basic supplies for mere pennies in hopes that you’ll buy more once in the store. Stick to the supplies you need that are on sale and you can save a small fortune. Combine those sales with coupons from the newspaper or printed off the internet and you’ll get even better deals.

In addition to their new school supplies, residents of two of the Bowen Family Homes communities have brand new schools to look forward to. Elementary students from McGinnis Reserve will get to roam the newly surfaced halls of Roberts Elementary, located at 251 Buford Highway. High school students at Cypress Springs have a new campus to look forward to with the opening of Lanier High, located at 918 Buford Highway.

sugarhillResidents of Bowen Family Homes’ Cypress Springs community revel in all that Sugar Hill has to offer, and now residents of the Gwinnett new homes community have another thing to look forward to.

A new pond and amphitheater area is being added near the new Sugar Hill city hall building. The pond will serve two purposes. The first is as a retention pond for runoff rainwater. The second is as a water feature. The pond will remain full and boast two aerating fountains as well as decorative greenery and other landscaping. A walkway will surround the pond and lead to the new amphitheater.

The amphitheater is sure to be a central gathering place for the community. The outdoor venue will feature terraced seating as well as a band shell for performances.

Homeowners in Cypress Springs already enjoy a fantastic location, with Lake Lanier two miles away and Gary Pirkle Park just minutes from home. The community features ranch and two-story home plans with stone and brick accent exteriors. For more information on living in the family-friendly community of Cypress Springs, visit the Bowen Family Homes website or stop by the sales center anytime Friday through Sunday.

The sales center is located at 548 Austin Woods Drive.
