recycle-copyThe Art for the eARTh Contest is currently underway at The Avenue Forsyth. From April 1 - April 22, visit The Avenue Forsyth Barnes & Noble to view artwork made from recycled material donated by Keep Forsyth Beautiful and created by the students of South Forsyth High School. You can vote for your favorite piece by depositing recyclable plastic bottles in the voting booth located next to Select Comfort. One bottle equals one vote so make sure that you put in more than one bottle for the one you want to win. Winners of the contest will be recognized at the Art for the eARTh LIVE! event on April 25 at The Avenue Forsyth. The event, which lasts from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. will feature live music provided by bands from Forsyth Central and South Forsyth High School. In addition to the music, attendees will enjoy the recycled art show, awards ceremony and retailer giveaways. The first 100 attendees at the event receive a FREE recycled tote bag, so make sure you get their early. Read More→
